DIVORCE COURT. PETITIONS GRANTED. UNDEFENDED CASES. WARTIME SEPARATIONS. War-time separations between parties to marriages contributed to a lengthy list of divorce business dealt with by Mr. Justice Fair in the Supreme Court yesterday, several of the cases arising lrom circumstances which developed during service or man-power periods. .... The petition of Edna Jeanne Buscke (Mr. L. T. Burnard) tor a divorce from Karl Edwin Buscke. on the grounds of agreement to separate, was undefended. Evidence was given of an agreement to separate made in 1940, before the respondent went on overseas service. The petition was granted, interim custody of the children being given to the petitioner. - Published 15 August 1946, Page 6
Decrees Absolute Granted. In the following petitions heard last week by the Chief Justice, Mr. Justice O'Leary, at the Gisborne sessions of the Supreme Court motions for decree absolute were granted, the petitioner being metioned first in each case:- .... Jeanne Buscke (Mr. L. T. Burnard) v Karl Edwin Buscke (Mr. K. A. Woodward), custody to petitioner. - Published 19 November 1946, Page 6
