      SALVATION ARMY MARRIAGE AT WAITAHUNA. Our correspondent writes:- On Wednesday last, 12th instant, in the Good Templars' Hall, Waitahuna, was married by.Major Bennett, of the Salvation Army, Archibald Edward, second son of Mr T. Bateman, of Waitahuna, to Johanna Margaret, only daughter of Mr S. Passkeson, of Waitahuna. As this was the first marriage that bad taken place at Waitahuna at which a Salvation Army officer had acted as officiating minister, there was a large attendance of the friends and relatives of the young couple to witness the ceremony..... - Published 19 May 1897
