GAIR, Gladys Winifred. Passed away after a struggle on Saturday 28 February, 2009; at Lynton Lodge Hospital. Much loved mother and mother-in- law of Raewynne, Astley and Blair, Gary, Jacqui, Roger and Trish, Glady, Kathy and Dave. A celebration of Gladys' life will be held at North Harbour Chapel, Wednesday 4 March, 10am, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany. Sadly missed mum.

MARRIAGE DISSOLVED. A petition for divorce by Gladys Winifred Cottrell (Mr. H. I. Simson) against Astley Bernard Cottrell, a member of the armed forces, was heard by Mr. Justice Fair at the Supreme Court this morning. The petitioner stated that an order for restitution of conjugal rights had been made, but had not been complied with. A decree nisi was granted. - 27 January 1944, Page 6
