  1982 Suicide Bombing The 1982 attempt by Neil Ian ROBERTS to destroy the Wanganui Computer Centre because of concerns that New Zealand would become a "police state" with the Computer Center as it's figurehead. He committed suicide with a bomb attempting to destroy the Center.
