OBITUARY.
MBS A. A. WOODING
(THE PRESS Special Service.)
The death occurred yesterday of Mrs Alice Amy Wooding, wife of Mr A. R. Wooding, of Ward. Mrs Wooding was closely associated with the early development of the Starborough settlement, coming to the Marlborough district with her husband 31 years ago, and was widely known and respected. She was a keen worker for the. Anglican Church and was a member of the Ward Women's Institute and Mothers' Union.
BLENHEIM, May 24.
Mrs Wooding is survived by her husband, three sons, Messrs Percy and Arthur Wooding (Ward), and Reginald Wooding (Greymouth), and four daughters. Misses Olive, Eileen, and Muriel Wooding (Ward), and Mrs E. Roberts (Culverden).
Mrs Wooding, who was in her fifty-eighth year, was a daughter of the late Mr William Andrews, of Christchurch. There are four brothers, Messrs N. S. Andrews (Ward). W. G. Andrews (Seddon), O. Andrews (Tauranga), and R. S. Andrews (Christchurch). Miss O. Andrews (Christchurch) is a sister. The interment will take place at the Ward cemetery to-morrow afternoon.
