Barbara Ann Pearson May 16, 1936 - January 21, 2016. - Passed away suddenly in West Kelowna on Friday, January 22, 2016. She was survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert William; children, Kathy Rigg (John), Dan and Laura; grandchildren, Josh (Carly), Candice (Eric), Brad, Karli, Tasia Rae (Nick), Kyle and Keely Marie (Mark); great grandchildren, Raine and Kerrigan; sister, Jaimee Carson (Moe); brothers, Victor Shobridge and Gary Shobridge (Shelly); numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Also survived by her dog and faithful companion, Toto. Predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Dorothy Shobridge,baby daughter Janet, daughter in law Cindy and sister in law Trudy. Barbara was active in Beta Sigma PHI and Daughters of the Nile. She loved her sports, was a faithful fan of the Kelowna Rockets, BC Lions and the Okanagan Sun. Barbara was a loving full time stay at home mom who was always there for her family and friends. A memorial service will be held on February 22, 2016 at 11:00am at Everden Rust Funeral Services. 1910 Windsor Rd. Kelowna.
