LYFORD, Gordon Victor: Passed away peacefully at Heatherlea Care Centre, New Plymouth, on Monday 11 May 2015, aged 86 years. Loved husband and best friend of Bev for 34 years. Loved father and father in law of Les and Lorraine, Mike and Kathy. Loved grandad and great-grandad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved stepfather to his extended family. Loved brother and brother-in-law to Val and the late Willie Lyford. Loved brother-in-law to the late Des and Colleen Moore. Grateful thanks to all the staff and management at Heatherlea Care Centre for their care of Gordon over the last 2 years. Gordon's funeral service will be held in the Taranaki Cathedral of St. Mary, Vivian Street, New Plymouth, on Friday May 15, 2015, at 1pm followed by cremation. - Published by Taranaki Daily News from May 14 to May 15, 2015.
