      CHALMERS, William John (Bill). Passed away peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Tukituki Medical Centre, Waipukurau. Loved husband of the late Heather Chalmers. Best mate of Mel Tatam and friend of Clarice Tatam. Father and father-in-law of Jim and Leonie Chalmers, Stephen Chalmers (deceased), Sue Chalmers and Guy Partridge, Bruce and Kaye Chalmers, Joanne and Ross Thompson, Jill and Paul Webley, and Brian Chalmers. Loved grandfather and great-grandfather of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the Jauffret team and the nurses in Ward A4 at the Hawke's Bay Regional Hospital and also to Dr Stephens and the nurses at the Tukituki Medical Centre for their loving care of Dad. At Bill's request, a private cremation has been held. C. H. B. Funeral Services Ltd, FDANZ Waipukurau - Published by Hawke's Bay Today from Mar. 31 to Apr. 1, 2017.
