RODGERS, Elvan Joseph, of Palmerston North. - Passed away peacefully surrounded by all his loving family on March 3, 2013, at the Palmerston North Hospital, in his 81st year. Most Dearly loved and cherished husband of Bev for 56 years. Much loved Dad of Lynn, Robbie, and Gary, father-in-law Dave. Pop to Rodney and Kirsty, Hayley and Glen and Great Pop (E.J) to Becky. "Gone, but forever in our Hearts". Thank you to the Marion Kennedy Centre particularly Gavin for the many years of entertainment and outings, to the team from Lavender Blue, especially Sue for her care and support of both Elvan and Bev, also the staff of ward 25 Palmerston North Hospital, for their care and kindness to Elvan and family in his final days. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Marion Kennedy Centre P.O. Box 527 Palmerston North 4440 would be appreciated or may be left in the Chapel foyer.
