Evening Post, Volume LV, Issue 18, 22 January 1898, Page 4. Another early settler has dropped off - Mrs. Trueman, who died last night at the residence of her son in Riddiford-street. Mrs. Trueman, together with her husband and family, arrived in Wellington in the ship Alma some 40 years back. She leaves two sons and two daughters. Her husband predeceased her by some 12 months.
