Novels

In 1926 Coralie McKellar was reported by several NZ newspapers to have published a novel "The Iscariot". In 1930 it was reported in Australian newsapers that Coralie was going to London to have her novel "Judas Iscariot" published.

I have yet to locate these novels or reviews of the novels.

A novel, "The Iscariot," which has been favourably reviewed by Leon Gordon among others, has been written by Mrs. McKellar, who is also the author of a book of songs, "The Brown Land," and a book of poems, "Silhouettes of the Street." "The Brown Land" refers, of course, to Australia, and Mrs. M'Kellar is thinking of writing one for New Zealand. ...

Mrs. Coralie McKellar, a journalist, of Sydney and New Zealand, is a passenger in the Baradine, which will leave Fremantle for England this evening. She is going to London to supervise the publication of her novel "Judas Iscariot" a story based on life in the Pacific Islands.
