Lady Liverpool Fund.
Newspaper reports of Coralie Stanley contributing to concerts during the First World War to raise funds.
Annette, Lady Liverpool, the wife of the New Zealand Governor (1912-1920) Lord Liverpool, inspired women and children throughout New Zealand to contribute to the war effort. They sewed shirts, knitted socks and collected money. Many soldiers expressed their gratitude for the parcels they received from the Lady Liverpool Fund.
Two days after news of Britain's declaration of war on Germany was received on 5 August 1914, Lady Liverpool's appeal to the women of New Zealand was published in many newspapers. As a result fund raising groups were established in every community. In Christchurch, where Coralie was residing in 1918, she sang in several concerts. She also composed a song to assit with fundraising.

THEATRE ROYAL TO-NIGHT.
This well-known Christchurch Amateur Revue Company, which for same months past have been giving performances in aid of various patriotic purposes, will make their bow to a Timaru audience to-night. The Company have earned an enviable reputation, and the Christchurch critics have been loud in their praise of the work done by these talented artists. Ballets are a special feature of the Company's entertainment. During the evening Miss Stanley will sing "The Tramway Copper Trail," her own song, set to music by Mr R. A. Home of Christchurch. Miss Drucy Turner and her little sister Emily contribute some very fine dances, and Mr Jack Wright is admitted to be New Zealand's best male dancer. The Company carries a chorus of twenty picked voices, and this is a strong feature of the show. The musical director is Mr T. Noble, who has American and Continental experience as a conductor. The proceeds of the performance will go to swell the funds of the Lady Liverpool Copper Trail, and as the Company is such a good one, and the cause so deserving a bumper house is anticipated. The box plan is open at the Bristol, and the Theatre is already well booked. The performance will commence at 8 p.m., and during the evening Mr L. B. Hart of Christchurch, will take the opportunity to explain the working of the Trench Comforts Fund, and the object of the "Copper Trail."
