Foxton Cemetery is the Horowhenua District's oldest cemetery with records dating back to 1867. The cemetery is rich in history with many of Foxton’s colonial families and prominent early settlers buried in the Cemetery. The Cemetery has tranquil tree lined grounds with colonial charm, overlooking surrounding farmland and amazing views of the Tararua mountain range.
