Headstone - Magretha and Arnold EGGERS

In fondest memory of Magretha, dearly beloved wife of Henry Eggers, died Jany. 28 1909 aged 45 years. Weep not for me my beloved one dear. I am not dead but sleeping here. Also Arnold, dearly beloved infant son of the above, died July 15 1903.

Notes: The first Lutheran church at Upper Moutere was built in 1864. Johann Wilhelm Christof Heine was the Lutheran Pastor. The present second church was built in 1905.
