In loving memory of John Archibald, beloved husband of Thersa Paton, died 1st Jan 1922 aged 59 years. "For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all ways". 11th Verse 91st Psalm. Also, Theresa, his beloved wife, passed on 13th March 1927 in her 65th year. "He shall cover thee with his feathers and under His wings shalt thou trust, His truth shall be thy shield and buckler". 4th Verse 31st Psalm.

Notes: The graveyard at St Paul's Church is the last resting place for numerous notable Cantabrians. The first person to be buried in the cemetery was George Dunnage (ca 1803 – 19 May 1853), who was the first vicar of St Paul's. The current church, built in 1877.
